We are writing to see if you would like to participate in a new research study, Timing of Surgery in Hereditary Medullary Thyroid Cancer – A Discrete Choice Experiment being conducted at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) by Dr. Maya Lodish and Dr. Sanziana Roman.
Study Purpose: The goal of this study is to investigate what factors influence patient or parental decisions regarding the timing of thyroidectomy in children with Hereditary Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC) and/or MEN2.
Participation Requirements: The study enrollment involves completion of a 15-minute online survey to better understand what you think about risks and benefits of surgery for your family.
Incentive: In appreciation of your effort and opinions on improving MTC care and outcomes, you will be offered a $20 electronic gift card.
